About Fred Breedlove and First Aid Missions of Hope
Fred Breedlove has been involved in short term missions since 2001, serving in Mexico, the U.S.A., Sri Lanka, and Kenya. Fred has been active as a trained Hospital Chaplain, a volunteer with the American Red Cross, former volunteer with Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Search & Rescue (2009-2018), and is also a certified First Aid/CPR/AED instructor and Licensed Training Provider for the American Red Cross. Fred has served as an Elder at Mountain View Community Church (MVCC) in Snohomish, WA, and as a co-leader for the Christian Outreach Ministry at MVCC. One of the ways that Fred is helping within his own community is by providing American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED training to people in his church and community at or below the actual cost for the training.
First Aid Missions of Hope adheres to the same values as the American Red Cross and International Red Cross - helping others with no no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. Missions of Hope is not connected or sponsored in any way to the American Red Cross, other than the sharing of common beliefs and principles and the fact that Fred is also a volunteer with the American Red Cross. The people helped through this ministry include people of all faiths, including Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Mormon, and others. Fred has lived and worked side by side with people of different religious beliefs, sharing compassion and mutual respect for all people groups. In addition to volunteering with organizations in the United States, Fred is also a life member of the Sri Lanka YMCA and a life member of the Kenya Red Cross Society.
You can partner with Fred in First Aid Missions of Hope projects worldwide, and he is available to help you lead mission teams to locations around the world. Fred's experience leading Christian missions teams, and his contacts with churches, YMCA's, and other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO's) around the world can be an asset to you and your church, or organization to help you in the mission field to make a positive difference in the lives of people worldwide.
If you would are interested in learning more about joining Fred on a future mission trip, or how you can help support these mission projects financially, send an email to Fred via the "Contact" page. You can also contact Fred through Facebook. Financial support for this ministry is strictly through donations and Fred's limited personal finances. There has never been any corporate support for these missions, and Fred would like to express his sincere thanks to all of the friends, family, strangers, and churches which have supported Fred in these projects. Fred also gives special thanks to Mountain View Community Church and World Impact Network for their partnerships and support over the years. Without all of this support, it would not have been possible to accomplish as much as we have in these First Aid Missions of Hope.
